- How can I make sure my cards look fabulous?
- It's simple: to get great looking cards use good photographs. Make sure your images are in focus, well let and not grainy or blurry. We all have pictures that were cute moments but didn't turn out to be great photos for one reason or another. Better save those for the scrapbook.
- What size should my images be?
- In order to get the possible quality prints, images should be no smaller than 800pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. (screen resolution). If possible, submit files at 300dpi or better. If you are scanning your photos, make sure your scanner is set to scan at 300dpi or higher. There is a maximum upload file size of 4MB. If you are resizing your image with photo editing software do NOT use the "resample" option and try and make a small image bigger. Even if it looks ok on the screen it will not produce a desirable print.
- What resolution should my images be?
- If possible 300dpi is the ideal resolution for images. We convert all lower resolution images to the correct dpi before printing. Just make sure the size falls within our guidelines.
- Can you convert my image to black and white or sepia?
- Yes! We are happy to convert your images to sepia or black and white. Please specify this in the special instructions box on your order.
- Can you remove things I don't like from the picture (like a stain or smudge)?
- Yes, we have the capability of cropping, correcting red-eye, touching up minor blemishes, and converting to both sepia-tone and black and white. There is a $5 charge for photo editing.
- What if my images aren't right?
- Each order is carefully reviewed and laid out by one of our designers. If we notice any problems with your images that will affect the quality of your finished product we will contact you right away.
